Boxy Zip Pouch — PDF Sewing Pattern, 5 Sizes
A structured box-shaped zip pouch in five sizes, from a small coin pouch to a travel organiser. One pattern, five projects. A4 and US Letter files included.
Why it looks harder than it is
The box shape does not come from shaping. It comes from cutting a small square out of each bottom corner of a flat rectangle, and stitching that notch closed. That is the whole trick, and the pattern pieces have the notches already drawn. There are no curves, no gussets to match and no corners to ease.
The zip is set into a straight seam, flat, before the pouch is assembled — so you are sewing a straight line on a flat piece of fabric, not fighting a zip inside a finished bag.
