Quilting cotton throughout. You'll want a red print for the stars, a solid or near-solid dark green for the path and the inner border, a light background print for the centre, and a larger festive print for the outer border — plus backing, batting and binding.

This one is friendly to what you already have. Christmas fat quarters, a charm pack, or the reds and greens left over from last year's projects will all work, since every piece is small.
