🐕 Dog Pajamas — PDF Sewing Pattern
10 sizes, XXS–5XL · Full-body four-leg onesie · Ribbed neck and cuffs · For fleece and stretch knits · A4, US Letter and A0
Some dogs feel the cold indoors, and it is not a matter of dressing them up.
A whippet or an italian greyhound has almost no undercoat. A chihuahua loses heat faster than it can make it. An older dog that used to sleep anywhere now looks for the radiator. And a dog that has just come back from the groomer is suddenly wearing a fraction of the coat it had that morning. For all of them, a soft full-body layer indoors is comfort, not costume.
That is what this is: a proper four-leg fleece onesie, covering the body and all four legs, finished with soft ribbed bands at the neck and at each cuff.
Those four cuffs are doing a job. Ribbing grips gently just above the paw, so the sleeves stay where you put them instead of sliding down the leg or riding up in a bunch at the shoulder — which is what happens with a plain hemmed tube, and it is the reason most home-made dog clothes end up in a drawer. It is a small construction detail and it is the difference between something the dog will tolerate and something it will not.

📏 10 Sizes, XXS to 5XL
From a 17 cm back length to a 65 cm back length — a chihuahua at one end, a labrador at the other. Ten sizes in one file, so the same pattern covers your dog now, your dog's friend, and the next dog.

Measure your dog, do not guess by breed. Two dogs of the same breed can be two sizes apart. Back: from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Neck: around the neck where a collar sits. Chest: around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.

📥 Instant Download
This is a digital PDF sewing pattern. Nothing physical will be shipped. Your files are available to download immediately after purchase.
📌 Please Note
This is an indoor garment for cold weather. Fleece is warm, and a full-body layer can overheat a dog. Do not leave it on an unsupervised dog, and take it off for exercise or if the dog seems too warm.
Sew this in a knit with stretch — a woven fabric will not go on. Use a jersey or ballpoint needle and a stretch stitch. Print at 100% or Actual Size, never Fit to Page. Colours may look slightly different from one screen to another. This listing is for the pattern only, not a finished garment.
