Recommended fabrics: soft or washed linen, linen blends, cotton gauze, double gauze, rayon challis, viscose, lyocell and other lightweight wovens with good drape. For the fringed look, choose a loosely woven linen — its threads pull out easily and evenly. Anything with body will fight the fold.
