🌸 Why This One Works With Scraps
Each flower uses just one or two fabrics, so a fat quarter goes a long way and no two flowers need to match. If you have been saving pretty pieces without a project, this is the project.
The one rule: keep the background much lighter than the flowers. The whole design depends on that contrast. Cream, ivory or a very soft white all work; a background that creeps towards mid-tone will swallow the petals and the quilt loses its punch.
