Hopscotch Quilt – 10" Squares Quilt Pattern PDF

Each 10″ square is cut into one 5½″ × 8½″ rectangle and two 4½″ squares. Two squares from other fabrics are stacked and sewn beside a rectangle, and the column flips from right to left on every other row: the hopscotch steps appear on their own.

Each block uses exactly one 10″ square, so the number of squares you need equals the number of blocks. A standard pack of 42 ten-inch precut squares makes the Throw with nothing to calculate (it uses all 42 — keep two or three stash squares in case of a miscut).
