• Plain quilting cotton solids in 10 to 13 colours: 16 to 23 fat quarters depending on the size (237 to 328 squares of 4 inches)

• Teal and black cotton for the bands, 1 1/8 yd (1 m) each

• Cotton print for the hood lining, 3/4 yd (70 cm)

• Light muslin backing and low-loft batting, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 yd of each depending on the size

• Mustard double-fold binding, 10 yd (9 m), and 7 to 8 yd of bias tape for the inside seams

• Matching thread and a walking foot
