- 3 yd lining cotton and 1½ yd thin batting (90" wide)
- 1–1¼ yd gingham for the button band, cuffs and binding
- ⅜ yd sherpa for the collar
- 5–6 buttons (¾" / 20 mm) and ¾" elastic for the cuffs
- Sewing machine with a walking foot and a buttonhole foot
