Most bibs are a rectangle with a snap. This one has a gathered ruffle running all the way round the outer curve, which is the whole reason it looks like a gift and not like a wipe. Gathering a curved edge sounds fussy — it is one row of long stitches, pulled up and pinned before it ever reaches the machine, and the illustrated steps take you through it. It is fully lined, so there are no raw edges anywhere and nothing to overlock. ✨
