Sweetheart Duffle Bag — PDF Sewing Pattern
A cylindrical travel duffle with a full-length top zip, a zipped side pocket and two carry handles. Finished size 46 × 24 × 22 cm (18⅛" × 9½" × 8¾"). All measurements given in both centimetres and inches.
Why it looks harder than it is
Almost every piece is a rectangle. Only the two round ends need a template, and that template is a single printed page — the rest of the bag is cut straight from a measurement chart, with no pages to tape together and no full-size pattern to print.
The zip goes in flat, along a straight seam, before the bag is assembled. The straps are topstitched onto the flat panel while it is still flat. By the time anything becomes three-dimensional, the difficult parts are already done.
